Day 8 (Unicoi Gap Shelter -> Addis Gap) (61.3 mi total)
Today was a great day for hiking. We made a lot of progress even though we were mainly hiking with a little distance between us. We have been truly blessed with gorgeous weather this entire trip and today was no exception. The infamous Cheese Factory Site (Cheese Cake Factory as we very quickly misinterpreted it) was on the trail today and we were glad to see it. I'll not bore you with words and let the pictures show our travels for the day.
