We awoke this morning to a dew covered haze. Since we had pulled a big day the day before it only left us with a short hike to Fontana Dam and the Hilton. We quickly arrived and hitched into the Fontana Village where retreated from the rain and resupplied/ate/charged phones. Afterwards we took to the 2 mile hike back to the Dam where we of course got the fake hitch hike. We took off running towards a Forerunner only to see it skid out just before it came within arms reach ha. The revenge came swiftly though as the couple that pulled the stunt (which is funny I must admit) was in the parking lot of the Dam as we arrived. Needless to say we gave them all pointed stares and vulgar hand waves. We finally arrived to the Fontana Hilton to take cramped showers and enjoy the company of some Boy Scouts on trip and some new friends Clay and Jim whom we would hike with for the next couple of days.
