I had a long hike today, and felt suprisingly good after my long night with TrueBrit. However, I don't know why but I didn't take too many photos at all. I was planning on meeting up with Mike (hiker I had met the night before) later that evening at Jenny Knob Shelter so we could hike the following day together. I did catch a bit of good cell service (finally starting to get some) and got to call my parents and attempted a call to the boo but it was pretty early and she isn't the brightest morning person ha ;) so I think I left a voice-mail. I did get to meet Ken (?), an older man (around 70) that was finishing the trail in Bland, Va. He had only 4 miles left. It was really inspiring to meet someone so close and see the look of joy in his face. I told him congratulations and finally arrived at Jenny's Knob where I met up with Mike and fellow hiker Ruby. We talked and made a fire and then hit the hay early.

ReplyDeleteHa, i dont know if commenting at 4:30 a.m. can technically be considered being a morning person!
