(Mountaineer Falls Shelter -->Kincora Hostel) (416.3 mi total)
Today we made it to the legendary Bob People's Kincora Hostel at Dennis Cove. This place is awesome, there in no charge (donation encouraged) you get laundry, shower, and all the games you could want. Bob himself lives in the attached house and is practically a god when it comes to the A.T. It's pretty funny people started leaving these messages carved in the shelters about Bob about 3 days before we got there. "Bob People's doesn't get blisters, but his boots do." Hopefully Ed will comment on here with some more, I am having trouble remembering a lot of them. Kincora hostel was hard to leave, partly due to Bob and his stories which are epic to say the least....this guy has literally done everything ha.

Tree house that Bob built so people could have privacy ;) if they wanted. Just enough room for a bed. Jude and I would have gone for this one, but it was already taken ha. |

ReplyDeleteBob Peoples.
ReplyDeleteA name that makes babies coo, and criminals run for the hills. A man of amazing strength, intelligence and persuasion. The only man who could take down Chuck Norris. The man with all the answers.
Hello. Thanks for the post. I am currently looking for pictures of Kincora Hostel for my app: Virtual Walk. You have some great photos here and I was wondering if I could have permission to use them in my app.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
