Another beautiful day in SNP. We did have a little bit of rain in the morning, but it did manage to blow over in the end and left us with some breath-taking views of the Shenandoah Valley. Ran into some folks climbing...surprisingly the first I had seen the entire trip. I was very jealous.....cannot wait to start climbing again in Memphis. We also got to stop by the Big Meadows Lodge today. It is a restaurant in the middle of the SNP and a tourist trap if I have ever seen one....it did have some damn good coffee though. We went to the hostess inquiring a seat. She replied, "I take it you boys are hiking, we actually have a spot for hikers..." This spot was in the corner of the restaurant and at least 30 ft away from anyone within a nose distance ha.

It was great to meet you guys at clingmans dome and take you down into Gatlinburg. Our car had a special smell for days after that reminded us of you guys. We're so proud that you guys made it! Woo Hoo! Way to follow your dreams. Our family prayed for you several times during the rest of your trip.

DeleteIt is awesome to hear from you. I hope the family is doing well! I have been checking up on the website and enjoyed seeing it progress with photos and such. The trip was great but it feels good being overstuffed with turkey as well ha. Thank you for your prayers (always needed), and I will keep you guys in mine as you are on the road. Congrats on making your Mission work happen. You and your family will be a blessing to anyone you meet (I know personally, ha).
If my travels take me to Honduras, you can definitely expect a message. Till then, Good luck with everything and I hope you guys the best!
